Be Different!

This is a pic from our farm in Richland, NY.
One of the chickens lays eggs like the white one in the middle.
It’s actually a small chicken.
Being different means you are special! Don’t be afraid to be a different one even if you are a little CHICKEN!!19702318_10155539960993417_1951572938151002312_nMattison Farm Stay starts on 7/16.
Our students will go to pick up these eggs!!

Spring 2013

4 years have passed since I moved back to NY in 2013.

Starting Mattison English in NY from scratch after closing it in Japan was no easy task.
But like this pic right before we left Japan, my lifetime partner Mio and I  both kept our chins WAY up high.

Thanks to everyone for all your support.
4 years after moving back to the US, we’re here today with over 100 students in Harrison, NY + Skype students in Japan.

We have a great summer Farm Stay 2017 going this year, and we’re just thrilled to be working with Mattland Farm and Mattison Corner Farms on that project.

As I was doing in this picture, looking up at the beautiful cherry blossoms as my witness, I promise to do my best for all of our students and family.
Without any of you we would be nothing.

Thanks everyone!

FARM STAY ORIENTATION

Featured

<Orientation☆
On the 1st day of April, we had our first orientation for “Mattison FARM STAY 2017!”
The five students we chose from the many that applied came with their excitement.
For the first time for them to meet each other, we had an ice breaker game “Get to Know Each Other” and went over the details of the program.
The kids went home with smiles on their faces and an envelope of documents to sign.

We were very pleased to hear from many people and families who are interested in our “Farm Stay 2017” . And regret that we can’t take all of them with us this summer.
Hopefully this program will grow in the future.
We’ll continue planning to make this program super exciting and update for all to see!

Get to Know Each Other”というゲームをしたり、ファームステイアクティビティ内容などを話合いました。

We had a great time talking about our future plan…

where people can be exposed to beautiful American nature and enjoy some farm activities.
And be able to take ESL lessons while staying right at the farm!
Please stay tuned for our next step up!Mattland2
